Northern Exposure centers throughout the life of a latest health care university graduate named Joel Fleishman (Rob Morrow) who, not reading through the high-quality print in his scholar financial loans, realizes he should apply medication inside the frozen tundra of Alaska. Even worse, he’ll be the only real medical doctor within the tiny city of Cicely, an area populated by oddball figures of each kind which include ex-NASA astronaut Maurice Minnifield, bush pilot Maggie O’Connell (Janine Turner), KBHR radio deejay Chris Stevens (John Corbett), aspiring filmmaker Ed Chigliak (Darren E. Burrows), and bartending few Holling (John Cullum) and Shelly Vincoeur (Cynthia Geary). It’s a fine recipe for many hilarious conditions.
